10. What is ActiveX? Why do I need to install ActiveX? see image
Some of our popup courseware requires ActiveX. Our ActiveX is named "Axcsw32" published under "Learning EDvantage Pte Ltd". On some web pages with white background: If your browser does not show a yellowish "run" button on the middle, you will need to install the ActiveX.
Note: ActiveX is not supported on browsers other than Microsoft Internet Explorer.
11. How do I install ActiveX? Must I install ActiveX every time I run the popup courseware? see image
ActiveX only needs to be installed once on each machine. Once installed, it can run & execute all popup courseware. In most cases, installation is automated with a prompt on first timer. Check & ensure that it is named "Axcsw32" & published under "Learning EDvantage Pte Ltd".
For Windows XP with SP2, you need to click on the top yellow bar (usually prompted with blink) & click on "Install ActiveX". Subsequent processes are guided accordingly.
